Morning Beauty, a succulent reminds me of nonfiction books due to its love of sunlight and low requirement for water. Yet somehow its beauty in the garden alongside flowers is evident.

Specialization​

​

Nonfiction remains a beauty without flashy fictional characters but rather mesmerizes with word and fact. Many nonfiction editors can assist with your argument or thesis but I choose to specialize because my deep knowledge in certain subjects helps for a better edit. My topics include education, sports, and business.

I spent decades in education. My education experience spanned from elementary to university and from the classroom to the athletic field. I understand historical educational milestones and current trends. In addition, I earned a masters in education and an administrative credential. Allow me to assist you in your nonfiction educational writing project.

In addition to my career, I lived a parallel life as a competitive distance runner. My experience ranged from high school through running as a division 1 athlete to placing in the top twenty-five in major marathons. You write about workouts, physiology, nutrition, or visualization. For me it was life. So, I can assist you with familiar content found within sports books.

My undergraduate degree is in business / finance. There was a time everyone wanted to work on Wall St. Guilty. My curiosity for the world of business never quite extinguished. My own knowledge and continued reading brings more than literary and editing knowledge to your work.

How it works

Morning Beauty consists of a couple reads. The first full read of your story will provide a reader's experience. 

 

On the second read, my insight will generate comments within the first few chapters. You will receive an editorial letter several pages long that covers the entire manuscript on specific elements such as organization, overarching theme, compelling narrative, cause and effect, and reading recommendations. In addition, you will receive a follow-up zoom meeting.
